Bone Health classes provide structured, physiotherapist-led exercise tailored to people with osteopenia, osteoporosis, or those looking to improve bone strength. With a focus on safe and effective movement, each class helps reduce the risk of fractures while improving confidence and independence.

Sessions combine strength training, balance work, posture correction, and education to help you feel informed and empowered in managing your bone health.

The details

Small Groups, Personalised Approach

All participants complete an initial one-to-one assessment to establish a baseline and discuss goals. Class sizes are intentionally kept small, ensuring individual needs are addressed with the right level of supervision and support.

Duration: 45 minutes

Format: Small group, physiotherapist-led

Frequency: weekly in 8 to 12 week blocks
(plus 1 contingency week)

Initial Requirement: One-to-one assessment before joining

Osteopenia or Osteoporosis are scary prospects for any person diagnosed with these conditions. The idea of not moving at all in case of causing a fracture is not a good formula for living life to the full. What Sinead’s classes offer is evidence based and well-structured bone health training. We work on balance, strength and conditioning with a focus on being able to function well and safely in all our daily activities.
