After an initial assessment and once fears and goals have been discussed, your baseline has been established and any potential risks assessed, targeted strength and conditioning style exercises are often recommended. The strength and conditioning approach taken is relative to your life’s tasks but follows similar principles to the training of competitive sports people.

These classes can be particularly suitable for those in or recovering from illness or pain, those with arthritis, soft tissue injuries, post-surgery etc. The numbers in the classes are kept low to allow for a diverse group with individual needs. Depending on demand, attending the clinic may be on a rotation basis. The classes are based on the current evidence provided by up-to-date research.
