After an initial assessment and once goals have been discussed, your baseline has been established and any potential risks assessed, exercise is often recommended. For some people this can be a little daunting and they may never have done formal exercise before. Some people might just be a bit out of touch with their bodies and how they move. The Fundamentals class is for this group of people – it gives an introduction to exercise. It is based on the principles of Pilates and provides a foundation for more targeted strength and conditioning at a later stage.
